It's a wonderful beautiful day in the neighborhood. Thought I would bus down the museum and walk about Pike Place Market. Get some air if you will.

  

This is one of my favorite shirts but I don't wear it enough. I got it while in Boston from the hidden street wear shop Bodega. Famous for it's street front and usual entrance. I love anything Larry David and Julia Louis-Dreyfus is a huge hero of mine! She can do no wrong in my book.

It's the dreaded Monday. This past weekend was the Capitol Hill Block Party. A summer time festival full of music, great people watching, dancing, drinking (which I of course did not take part in but had a blast pretending I was drunk), fashion, and did I mention music?!

Just to name a few highlights was seeing Tan Lines, Star Slinger, Country Lips, Shaprece, Chromeo, ASAP Ferg, ASAP Rocky, but my favorite bring Matt & Kim. I got a few pictures to share with y'all. Now I would of snapped more of fashion but I was too busy enjoying myself. 

 

    

But alas, it is now over. We must wait until next year. For now, I get a day to recoup which means one thing - jeans and a t-shirt. Nothing can rival this classic duo.

feeling to keep

I can't lie. Pipe + Row got me feeling myself!

  

Today I started my first boxing class. Why didn't I start sooner?! I feel so much, have a pep in my step, and got out some much needed aggression.

For me, I go into the gym looking and feeling like shit. However I aim to leave feeling good and better about myself. Loving my body and trying to stay in a better head space the rest of the day. One way to feel better is to look good.

  

 

If you get anything from this blog, besides learning how to shop for the low-low, I really just want people to love themselves better. Whether it's going to the gym, to museum, seeing a movie, or writing on your own blog. And I want people to be more confident about the way you look. If you think you look good and you feel good, screw everyone else's thoughts. They ain't worth money so why listen?

Although Fremont is so far from home for me, I can't help but adventure out there from time to time to do a little shopping and investigating. If you ever visit Seattle or actually live in Seattle, Fremont is fun neighborhood with great food and even better shopping.

Lucky for me one of my friends Jen, who is a stylist and beauty human, works at this great boutique tucked away in Fremont called Pipe + Row. She invited me to come down, get styled, and most importantly play a little dress up.

I wasn't planning on buying anything but let's be honest that's a lie. I couldn't help myself! Pipe + Row is like a slim down, more on point Zara or Top Shop. Similar in price but unique pieces that you can't find anywhere else. Pipe + Row carries not just Seattle artist and designers but expands from coast to coast. I am talking Los Angeles to New York and then some.

  

I got a great sweater and dress but the piece I was craziest about is the amazing mesh top. I won't lie, it makes me look like I work out, when we all know I don't. But come on, do all girls wear yoga pants really ever go to yoga?!
