I have had so many different hair colors in my life and I always love the one I have currently. So right now - I love blue hair.


4. Grilled Cheese

I am broke. Like hella super, uper broke. So grilled cheese sandwich is my best friend in the whole wide world right now. Simple, easy, but best of all cheap.

3. Los Angeles Stories by Ry Cooder

I'm a book nerd and have been able to read a lot more living in LA oddly enough. Guess because I am working as a full time writer; I read for inspiration. This book was given to me by a family friend for Christmas. It's epic, chalk full of wild random tales of LA living. Just what this Seattle girl needed while staying in this city.

2. D'Angelo & The Vanguard

This album is proof that R&B is alive and well. Without a doubt is the sexiest thing ever. It's been awhile since I could play an album all the way through without skipping a song. This is that CD. (Hella random - but I want to make out to every single song.)

1. 2015

I mean it's only January and I oddly enough have never really liked this month but if this new year is anything like the last 6 months then I am so fucking excited for this year. Odd numbers are the best.

      

the day before

It is the day before Thanksgiving and I am wearing shorts. I am never going to really get use to this LA weather. I am a fall & winter girl. The colder the better.

Thanksgiving eve in shorts. This shit is a head trip.

I get to go home so lord knows I am not wearing this on the plane...

Laundry day! So we had to keep it simple today while I wash everything else.

  

I am getting use to this LA "fall" weather which starts at 6 PM and goes until 8 AM. That's pretty much it. It just gets cold at night and in the shade. I can't wait to go home for thanksgiving and get some rain in my diet.

Might be living in Los Angeles but I am still a Seattle girl from my Timberlands to my flannel. But now I can literally wear my flannel just as a jacket and still... it's hot.

I have a feeling people don't know what to do with me or my style in this city. But I could careless. It's been fun here!

two day

The 2nd day of bumbershoot! I was performing along aside my mentor/pen pal Tom Robbins. I was also able to catch my favorite guy Schoolboy Q who gave such a great and hilarious performance. (Of course keeping up with the twitter and Instagram is always where the juicy stuff is.)

But the rest of the day was easy, relax, downtime. Visited flat stock (again), checked out some of the film festival, and made my way to the visual art tents.

Overall t'was a good day.

   

So... this is one of my favorite new shirts. I got it back when I visited my girl at Pipe + Row. I call it my Clueless shirt because it reminds me when Cher she declares - "Lucy! Where’s my white collarless shirt from Fred Segal? It’s my most capable looking outfit"

Yeah. It's that amazing.
