5. Blue Hair
I have had so many different hair colors in my life and I always love the one I have currently. So right now - I love blue hair.


4. Grilled Cheese

I am broke. Like hella super, uper broke. So grilled cheese sandwich is my best friend in the whole wide world right now. Simple, easy, but best of all cheap.

3. Los Angeles Stories by Ry Cooder

I'm a book nerd and have been able to read a lot more living in LA oddly enough. Guess because I am working as a full time writer; I read for inspiration. This book was given to me by a family friend for Christmas. It's epic, chalk full of wild random tales of LA living. Just what this Seattle girl needed while staying in this city.

2. D'Angelo & The Vanguard

This album is proof that R&B is alive and well. Without a doubt is the sexiest thing ever. It's been awhile since I could play an album all the way through without skipping a song. This is that CD. (Hella random - but I want to make out to every single song.)

1. 2015

I mean it's only January and I oddly enough have never really liked this month but if this new year is anything like the last 6 months then I am so fucking excited for this year. Odd numbers are the best.

5. How to Get Away with Murder
Scandal has been my show for awhile but really it's jumped the shark. With that said I am a huge How to Get Away with Murder fan! It's creepy, drama filled, and Viola Davis is such a badass. Not to mention Dean from the Harry Potter movies grew up to be such a fine ass.

4. Willow Smith
She first won me other with her King Krule cover of "Easy, Easy" and since then has just kept getting better and better.


3. Grey Hair
Newest hair dying adventure. Red, blue, purple, green, now grey.

2. Kendrick Lamar
Is a god. I know that is creating false idols but truly he is my favorite artist. He is so talented, brilliant, quick, cute, and his music never disappoints. "i" has been on my soundtrack while living in LA. You can't help but A.) Want to dance upon hearing with and B.) Smile.

I get easily obsessed over TV shows. When I think about past moments I think "Huh, who was I dated at the time?" and "What TV series was I binge watching?" That's my life. In a nut shell. Whole season on Netflix

2. Fall Fashion

It's that time of year, the January of fashion. Getting all the magazines, taking notes, and have a billion tabs opened on my computer right as I type this. It's Christmas for us Fashion Nerds and Divas.

This girl is a beast! She kills me. From her production to her lyrics. So glad I found her because her EP Thesis is the ideal soundtrack from someone moving to LA.

5. Summer Blockbusters
The summer was made for movies. Popcorn, pop culture, and air conditioning. I can't wait. There is a huge line up but I am really excited for the movie Neighbors. It looks so funny! Hope it doesn't disappoint.

5 things I am in love with... right now

Just got back from a trip to San Francisco and of course I caught something. Coming home just to be sick sucks. (If you have yet to notice I have the immune system of an 80 year old.)

With that said here is a list of 5 things I am in love with right now:

5. Candles
I've been all about them lately. Maybe it's because of the winter time blues but candles are prefect for this time of year.

4. Mean Girls
It's my one of my favorite movie of all time. (Next to Casablanca and Clueless) Hard to believe but the 10th anniversary of the film will be in April. Ugh. If that doesn't make me feel old... (Haha! I hate when people say that. I don't mind feeling old or getting older. It's life people!) Anyways - Mean Girls is the shit.

3. Zara
Although I find it too expensive - it's truly a great place for inspiration for my own creations. We just got one in Seattle haven't visited it yet but look forward to it.

2. Uniqlo
Now here is one of my favorite stores! It's also a bit pricey but the ideal shop for basics. We don't have one in Seattle (yet...) but I had a blast visiting it while San Francisco.

1. Fashion Police
I am obsessed with this show! It's the best way to see what everyone is wearing, all the red carpet gossip, and being able to follow Fashion week. Not to mention Kelly Osbourne is my style icon.

5. Bob's Burgers
I don't know why but I love this show. It's freaking strange, the humor is questionable, but I can't stop watching it. I like weird shit and this show is the weirdest.

4. Rose Gold
I mention this already but it's becoming my new favorite color this year. Maybe it's because my name is all over it.

3. Reading!
People don't read enough. (Reading reddit articles do not count!) I mean books; reading actually, physical, books. One of my favorite places in the whole wide world is Elliott Bay Books. It's like my Breakfast at Tiffany's.

The album almost came out a month ago and I still can't playing it. It also helps that she has music videos that are so hard to look away from. *I woke up like this*

5. Oversized gray sweaters

I've been craving these lately. Gray is one of my favorite colors (hard to believe) and the oversized look is not just trending but also ideal for even the coldest of winters. Layer up!

4. "Street Ninja" Style
Black is the new black. It's not a new idea or anything but it's most def the "cool thing." I've never been worried about being cool let alone looking cool HOWEVER wearing all black is an ideal resort when you truly feel like you have NOTHING to wear. I described it on my twitter as so:

3. HAIM
They have been my favorite new band in awhile. Been bumping their CD for sometime now and doesn't get old. Best way to describe their music as so:

2. Thanksgiving

A holiday I think people over look (mostly because of the god awful history behind it) but for me I am thankful for it because it's a nice pause before the Christmas rush. Now, don't get me wrong: I LOVE Christmas! Absolutely CRAZY about it. It's my favorite time of year but come on people! Don't tired it out. Can't we just eat some turkey and 7-Up cake first?!

1. The Xbox One

Surprised? So am I.

BUT Ladies and gentleman; don't stress when your love one is too busy playing this to hang out with you. I, personally, am loving it. Don't get me wrong; I love my boyfriend. But screw ladies' night it's about to be ladies weekend!

Oh and because the boyfriend got an Xbox one I got his old Xbox 360. So truly, it's a win-win.

5. Pendleton

Fucking expensive as shit but when found at a thrift store it's worth it's weight in gold. I also saw a pair of Nikes and Doc Martens with this infamous pattern on them made me want it even more. Might buckle down and get a pair.

4. Interview Magazine

It's recently become my new favorite. I always buy it at my Pike Place Newsstand, great read for work/the bus. I like how big it is not to mention endless inspiration in it as well.

3. Jerseys

Still on this trend. I think it's because I have yet to find one I want. Hockey! I want a hockey one. The ILL American one I really wanted was too expensive as well as out of stock. My boyfriend doesn't understand. But I like it!

2. instax mini 25

I love my new camera! I forgot how sweet and nostalgic polaroids can be. Tiny moments capture it a developed on the spot picture.

1. red flats

My beloved, amazing, one-of-a-kind, so so so sad to see them go but they had too go little red flats are dead. Dead, dead, dead. I had to get rid of them. They were literally falling a part. So I am on the hunt for a new pair! This might take a long time (it might not) because those shoes were priceless! One of a million. My favorite hand-me-downs, hands down.

5. School Supplies
I wasn't the biggest fan of school but always LOVED back to school shopping. But not just the clothes. I was all about the new notebooks, new pens, Lisa Frank folders, cool pencil pouches. Yeah, I am a nerd.

4. Tie Dye
Seattle's own Alive & Well released a tie dye shirt and my friend Mary Jane just had a tie dye birthday party. Great little nod to the last days of summer.

3. BANKS
Another great indie star getting some well deserved attention. Plus I  heard she will be opening act for The Weeknd when he comes to Seattle; so I am pumped.

2. AlunaGeorge
I've been on them for awhile and it's great to see them blowing up! Get their debut album Body Music.

1. Sleep
Enough said.

blah. I am hiding away for a week. Which means I shouldn't even be blogging right now. I shouldn't even be on the internet but whatever. I am going to become anti-internet tomorrow. Right now... well since it's going to be a week MIA I might as well leave you with "something."

Of course my first love. I will always love writing, but lately, just been on it a lot more. I forgot how much it helps and how much I truly love it.

4. Road Trips
Got one in the making that is almost done and already planning the next one. Thinking about the coast with my boo thing and then who knows. Which leads me to number 3...

3. Summer Time
More of a winter person myself but there's a beautiful strange sense of freedom in the dead heat of summer. A passionate kind of living.
