I have had so many different hair colors in my life and I always love the one I have currently. So right now - I love blue hair.


4. Grilled Cheese

I am broke. Like hella super, uper broke. So grilled cheese sandwich is my best friend in the whole wide world right now. Simple, easy, but best of all cheap.

3. Los Angeles Stories by Ry Cooder

I'm a book nerd and have been able to read a lot more living in LA oddly enough. Guess because I am working as a full time writer; I read for inspiration. This book was given to me by a family friend for Christmas. It's epic, chalk full of wild random tales of LA living. Just what this Seattle girl needed while staying in this city.

2. D'Angelo & The Vanguard

This album is proof that R&B is alive and well. Without a doubt is the sexiest thing ever. It's been awhile since I could play an album all the way through without skipping a song. This is that CD. (Hella random - but I want to make out to every single song.)

1. 2015

I mean it's only January and I oddly enough have never really liked this month but if this new year is anything like the last 6 months then I am so fucking excited for this year. Odd numbers are the best.

Might be living in Los Angeles but I am still a Seattle girl from my Timberlands to my flannel. But now I can literally wear my flannel just as a jacket and still... it's hot.

I have a feeling people don't know what to do with me or my style in this city. But I could careless. It's been fun here!

Let's try again, shall we?

This is from Sunday night. As you can image I've been going out a lot since living here. I stopped making awful decisions with money because more than ever I am balling on a budget. Like the world's tightest budget. But still - making broke look good.

Sunday we caught a great happy hour, my friend Jen had people visiting so we kicked it, then went to the Laugh Factory. The Laugh Factory is one of my favorite places in LA. Makes me want to stand up but honesty, never will. Just a place to gain material and inspiration from.

I am straight LA living but home for a few days to soak up the fall. Yes people the fall. I really love being in LA and living there but damn this Seattle girls needs her gloom and doom. Her rain and leaves. So I am here getting all of that and man it feels AMAZING!

 

I am trying to figure out a way to post more outfits when I am down there but really I just don't have the time. But make sure to follow me on my twitter and Instagram for all the juiciest moments.
