on the 3rd day

Lordy, lordy, lord. I am tired! Bet. I can't lift another finger. This weekend was jam-packed with wildness and it truly is bittersweet it's now over.

Today was the Battle of The Word poetry Slam which I was hosting. I was running around like crazy making sure everyone was doing what they needed to be doing and everyone was where they needed to be. Once that was over, it was hanging out in the artist lounge and eating free food.

My highlight was seeing J. Cole. I love him! His set as by far one of the best sets not only at Bumbershoot but best set I've seen in life! So powerful and so moving. Played all the classics, played all the cuts. Awww. This was a great way to end the summer.

So ideal!

Check out the newest addition to my kick collection! Got these pretty ladies in Canada. Oh Canada! Also this hoodie I call my Harriet The Spy Hoodie. All about that mead notebook vibe.

The Boyfriend went to see Schoolboy Q (I gave up my ticket so his best friend could go. I know. But I knew his friend would have more fun than me) BUT I got to go to my friend Avi Loud's first solo show.

He's such a wonderful photographer. The shit he does with black and white is so ahead his years. Really proud of him. I also getting super excited when I see people who aren't from Seattle reblog or post his work on tumblr. Showing off Seattle's true talented people!

On a guttersnipe note - I bought this Jordan jersey at one of my favorite thrift stores in Washington State - Urban Xchange. I've been meaning to write a guttersnipe review but been slacking. Promise I'll get that up this week and tell you all about this Tacoma hidden gem.

Umm.. what up doc?

I don't take Halloween seriously... well I do but I don't take it "serious" because it's fun! I actually like having an "outfit" not just some half ass thing. I also like to take my own spin on things. For example tonights outfit (DAY 3) Lola from Space Jam!

Jordans (duh)
Tights (Nordstrom Rack) $4.00
Shorts (Goodwill) $3.50
Jersey
Jacket (deseret industries) $1.00

Also since I will be turning 23 on Halloween it's only fitting I do a Michael Jordan inspired look. I know I am wearing the Derrick Rose Jersey but still Chicago Bulls for life!
