With fashion you shouldn't go for the obvious choice. It's easy with style to have a routine or uniform; you got to step out of your comfort zone. For example; I don't wear dresses that often. As a reader of this blog you might think otherwise because I post so many posts with me in dresses. But that's why. It's a rare thing.
I've had this great dress that I found when I was in Chicago. I've owned it for years now and have only wore it twice. It's summer time so I am leaning towards more dresses. I of course have to take my own spin on it. So I did. Converse and a flannel. New uniform meets old uniform for something strangely different and fashionable.

I haven't been able to go thrifting or shop as much as I've wanted to because of summer laziness and work. But here are some of my latest pick ups:
The first four are all from Goodwill and the last shirt is from Forever 21. The first white basic I already styled when I had my ladies night with my friends. I am in love with the floral silk button up. It's Calvin Klein so it's most def a great come up at only $7.00. The black tank was $4.00 and the white see-threw tee was $5.00
The stripped referee looking shirt was on sale at Forever 21 for $12.00. It's more of a fall thing but I like it and can't wait to wear it.
