My dream job would be writing for Jimmy Fallon, SNL, or the Daily Show. Or better yet getting my own movies made. Writing is my life. It's why I wake up in the morning. It's the shit that keeps me sane.

If you follow me on Instagram you know I've been bouncing around a lot. Boston, LA, Seattle, LA, Portland, and now who knows. I don't mind it but I really do hate flying. It's one of my biggest fears. I am slowly getting use to it or just getting better at hiding it.

 

I think I've said it before but in LA fall and winter begin around 6 PM and goes until about 6 AM. With that said this shirt (full of holes) and this sweatshirt were made for LA winter.

Oh. And my hair is still blue.

I've been lacking inspiration lately. Just feeling really drained. Finding it so hard to get out of the house and actually doing something. Not to mention my anxiety for some strange reason has been at the highest it's been in a long time. Thankfully though today has been a breathe of fresh air.

Got out of the house, went to my favorite coffee shop, got some writing done, and strolled around the neighborhood. Amazing how many you can get big results from doing little things.

  

Finally got to take this jean jacket out for a test run. I hope you guys made your own DIY version of this jacket because people love it!

Just got back from a night in Portland where I saw Questlove DJ. I never understand why people always said seeing this artist or that artist live changed their lives until I saw Questlove. The man is a genesis!

I've never danced so hard in my life. I've danced that long either. He did a heavy and super packed set. Started at 11 sharp ended at 2 AM. Worth every penny, worth every second.

Best part of going to Portland though is all the Nike Outlet malls. I don't regret a thing. But my bank account might...

 

Ladies - quick tip for the summer time. If you are like me (well invested in the boob area) wearing a cute color bra with a pop of color is ideal for a tank like this. No matter what I wear in the summer, my bra always makes it way through. So I might as well use it to my advantage.

Even if you don't have big boobs - showing your bra a little is not bad! Shit happens.

Leaving for a mini trip to Boston. I am really excited! I need to get out of Seattle for a little bit. Love my home, but always good to get out and clear your head. I have a few shows out there so it should be fun!

Today I made two new garments. One is a little more traditional top (with a cute little collar detail) and the other shirt was a strange wild pattern from a great book of Japanese fashion my mother got me when we went to the Future of Beauty exhibit at Seattle Art Museum. Plus I just bought this great silk fabric that has crazy abstract and asymmetrical lines. The print flatters the shirt, the shirt is ideal for the fabric.

  

And since I am flying and it's a red flight I am trying to be comfortable as possible. This shirt is like a slick beautiful garment and a sleeping bag in one.
