Aw! It's that time again in Seattle - Bumbershoot. If you follow me on twitter or Instagram then you already know the trouble I've been causing and of course seeing. I promise to post a large haul on Monday or Tuesday.
Til then this is day one's outfitted.
*Newest favorite find!* This shirt (Goodwill Outlet) 50 cent
I woke up really really early this morning. For no real reason actually. Just 5 AM rolled around and I was awake. I know I am going to regret it later when I crash...
My beloved camera broke so that's why I haven't been posting. I just got her fix and I am back at it. Not to mention last week was the week from hell. I am getting over being sick, yet again. But the sun is coming out more so I am very hopefully.
Staying on the bright side of things.
I've been getting into the swing of spring. Getting a lot for great fashion ideas and style projects. I also got the latest issue of Nylon Magazine in the mail today. Finding some inspirations and will start working on a new challenge.
Tomorrow I am dancing with the Fly Girls at Havana, then featuring at the Rain City Slam on Wednesday.
Sunday is meant for sleeping in, eating, 50's cheesy teen movies, eating, reading magazines, eat, work on an art project, forget your work out plan, get food, being goofy, food, and eating more.
This is what I wore yesterday when I kicked it with my girl Kim.
Do I feel like an extra from either West Side Story, Cry Baby, Hairspray or American Graffiti? Why yes, I do.
I feel like another person whenever I wear my signature color of leopard print. Like hide your cookies and your boyfriends; cuz I'll steal both.
Awe! My moment of zen. I get to take a moment. I had such a busy but great day.
First off; it was a beautiful early spring day in Seattle. Still cold but sunny.
I woke up super early for a meeting with a client, then lunch with a dear friend (where I got the yummiest pho!) took my mom to the doctors, ran some errands for a show I have tomorrow and then headed to dance rehearsal. So I need an outfit to work for all these things.
Now if you ever wonder why people wear leggings as pants one reason is for people like m who are always on the go. And I don't want to feel restricted by REAL pants.
This outfit above is what I wore for dance practice subtract the timberlands. The shoes I wore are my busted but lovely retro jordan ones (post above) with my amazing gym bag my old friend shelby got me from the goodwill outlet. So she paid like a nickel for it.
And this was what I wore the rest of the day. See what I did, made it easy to change.
I've been sick these past days and I think today is the first day I actually feel better. I've been sleeping, watching netflix, downing vitamins, eating pho, and drinking peppermint (with honey) tea non-stop.
But this evening, I went out on a very lovely sushi date with my friend Robin. Then went to a poetry slam. I needed to get out of house. It was a great and easy start back into the real world.
