Anyone who follows my Instagram knows about this news:

So... now I've been writing. Like crazy. Like beyond crazy. Like my eyes are killing me from starring at my computer screen for too long. But thankful, hard work has and will pay off. Don't you forget!

On the flip side - I found this great shirt today!

For those who don't know I've been friends with Mary Lambert since we were 14, angry at the world, writing poems together. We even went on tour together about two years ago. Since then she has been busy  killing it in the game. I love her and so freaking happy for her. It's so wild to see her career take off.

   

I sent her a picture of me wearing this shirt, to which we both agree only a true fan would understand the awesome vintage-ness of this shirt.

I did a lot of CRAZY shopping while I was on tour. I mean I was in New York, Boston, DC. How could I not? But don't worry; I didn't come home broke.

I bought some fancy "sweatpants" at Topshop. Now, Topshop is super pricey but damn, I love it! I am a guttersnipe, always will be but you know sometimes you just go to Treat Yo Self.

Guess who's finally back on the west coast, in the 206.

It's strange to say, but I am missing the east coast already. (It's only been like a day) I mean, don't get me wrong there were moments I hated traveling but the tour and trip over all was fantastic! I had the time of my life. Stories for days, tales for weeks.

 

But damn! It does feel so good to be home.

Mary and I are at the half way point of tour. Which is great and truly hard to believe. Time flies! We are both getting sick though from all the traveling. Thankfully we are in DC for week so we have some time to sit back and get somewhat more healthy.

I have to say, I love DC. We are staying in Georgetown and it's a great area. The shopping is so spot on and the food has been incredible. I am one happy little guttersnipe.

New York in Review

It's currently 1 AM in Toronto. Mary and I are sharing an air mattress bed and typing away at our keyboards. For some reason, without even trying we are sticking to West Coast time. Or we are both just since night owls going to bed at 3 AM in anytime zone is normal.

Now, since I can't post outfits I thought I would post some pictures from our 3 days in New York. I have such a love/hate relationship with that city. This was my 5th time there and I had a blast. I could never see my self living there, but most def visiting alot.

New York - the truth is that you've just had so many lovers. I can't be one of them. You are more like a friend to me. A really really hot, smart, sassy, good looking friend...

First off here is a pictures of two lovely fans who came to me and Mary's NYC show. They had great style.

Then I took Mary to Soho and made her go to TopShop for the first time. It of course blow her mind.

     

Also New York makes me broke EVERY time I go. I made brilliantly bad decisions with my money, but I ain't mad!

As you've notice: lack of posts. I've been on tour with the wicked smart, beautiful, and talented Mary Lambert "The Good Feelings Tour" to be exact. We are on the road for a month and we are our first week in. We started in Boston and currently in New York.

Tomorrow though we off to Toronto Canada. Yeah, we international. Here are some instagram pics for the time being.
