And like that, I am 24. Goodbye #JordanYear.

I had a really fun Halloween/Birthday. It was very strange and unique, but overall one I will always remember and I did have a great celebration. So for those who follow my Instagram know I was Medusa a.k.a. Versace Medusa when I put on my leather jacket and sunglasses. I even made my own costume!

This morning I wake up very very slowly. I am so tired! I partied way too hard and I don't even drink. Pretty sure I am suffering a second hand hang over. One too many Sheerly Temples with a splash of OJ. (The best drink by the way)

Got to see my favorite people. My dad got me Amazon Prime account (SCORE!) and my mom gave me Fujifilm instax mini 25! Nothing cooler than some old school polaroids. She was even able to find film with halloween frames. My parents are quite amazing.

I did get fabulous gifts but more importantly I got to spend my birthday with people that inspire me, love me, care for me, and are always down to have a good time. Now that was the highlight of my birthday.

This is from last night.

Seattle is known for it's music scene and our festivals. One of them is "capitol hill block party" better known in the twitter world as #chbp. It's always a great line up every year but overall I am just not a die hard fan for block party like most of my friends.

Last night however my boyfriend was able to get us free tickets so why not right? We were able to catch the tail end of Flaming Lips and see all of Dirty Projector's set. Ideal night.

 

It's getting chilly here in Seattle which I have no issue with. My dad was going through one of this closets when he found this gem of a sweater. I wore it last night and was really impressed by how many people stopped me to ask where I got it from. I felt so cool! Almost too cool....

 

Fun to give the new age hipster answer; "Oh! This old thing. It's my dad's."

It's been a official week of me being home and so much has happened. A week can a long time.

Now this week is all about getting back to a normal work schedule which is so hard after a month of pure fun. Plus I can smell summer right around the corner. This is the first summer that I am really excited for. I am usually a winter girl, but all my friends being so pumped for it is helping me see the benefits of that time of year.

But for now, it's a chilly but sunny day. So I get to wear my layers.
