Ok. This post is really my typical uniform (leggings and baggy shirt) with a twist. But I really just wanted to brag about my new bag. Sorry guys! But it's truly just that awesome! I got it for $15.00 at a thrift store in my neighborhood called "GATHER." I've walked by the place a million times and finally went in. Glad I did!

 

Also! If you noticed from the last post; I bought those beautiful bracelets. 3 for $4.00, what a steal!

inspired thrifting x game day

Finally got to goodwill and salvation army yesterday. Did some much needed retail therapy. Also I realized I haven't done an inspired thrifiting post in awhile, so you too must be dying for some good old fashion cheap eye candy.

Now on to my lately pick ups. I've noticed lately I've been going towards more basic pieces. Things that I can dress up or down. Depending on where you are standing.

 

And on that note! Maybe it's the fact that fall is right around the corner but sports wear is kind of making itself a massive trend. Jeremy Scott has a couple jersey dresses in his latest collection, Undefeated has a whole Hockey Collection, The band MellowHype did a serious of baseball inspired shirts, and many more. 

I found this top for $0.99, so why not. Right?

This is from last night.

Seattle is known for it's music scene and our festivals. One of them is "capitol hill block party" better known in the twitter world as #chbp. It's always a great line up every year but overall I am just not a die hard fan for block party like most of my friends.

Last night however my boyfriend was able to get us free tickets so why not right? We were able to catch the tail end of Flaming Lips and see all of Dirty Projector's set. Ideal night.

 

It's getting chilly here in Seattle which I have no issue with. My dad was going through one of this closets when he found this gem of a sweater. I wore it last night and was really impressed by how many people stopped me to ask where I got it from. I felt so cool! Almost too cool....

 

Fun to give the new age hipster answer; "Oh! This old thing. It's my dad's."

Oh you know, just bouncing around.

Lately I've realized having a fashion blog is more than a hobby. It oddly becomes it's a lifestyle. It becomes it's own thing. People do recognize me from this (which still catches me so off guard but I am very flattered) but having a fashion blog doesn't mean I know everything about fashion. No. I just know about my fashion.

  

What I like and what I don't like. It's about my personal style and how I do things. It's an interactive, live, public record of my fashion and style journey as a 20 something. A girl, a guttersnipe who loves wearable art and getting it for very cheap.

 

All honesty; I think everyone should have a style blog. If not a blog in general. Who cares if no one reads it or if it doesn't get big? It's something you do. It's something you like.

So; fuck it. Just do it for fun. Not fame.
