On Friday night after cleaning my WHOLE house my girls dragged me out. Well... they didn't really drag me out. I can't say no to a night out on the town.

 

So this is what happens when you watch Funny Face while you are getting ready for a ladies night. I am telling you; if you ever feel stuck and have nothing to wear PUT ON A MOVIE. It helps me.

I am in love with these new shoes. I found them at Nordstrom Rack. My boy calls them my "Trinidad James" shoes. I feel fancy then him wearing them though...

Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July.

I am personal not the biggest fan of fireworks. They scared me when I was little and now... well they still scare me. But that is besides the point because 4th is all about the BBQs. The 4th is also my friend Gabby's birthday! So it was very exciting.

Start out at one party, ended at another. And that's the way it goes.

Today is overcast in Seattle. Warm but with a chill. I just realized as I type that I am all about Weather Fashion. Fashion that is based on weather. You kind of have to be living in Seattle. But pretty sure I also just made that term up just now. But whatever. It sounds cool. And important.

 

Anyways; I am cleaning up my room and running errands so I went for a fashionable comfy.

I don't know if it's the heat, the laziness, that summer time freedom, or whatever but I am just less motivated to get dressed. I am just not a summer time stylist. I don't put too much effort in my outfits. (Which is a good thing and a bad thing) Good because I am comfy. Bad when you have a fashion blog and you are making choices that are lacking a x factor.

I am more inspired by fall and winter. I think it's because I am a girl of layers and in the summer time it's less is more kind of attitude.

  

I am so happy with life but the summer time state of mind but I am not really doing a lot. Just don't want to do anything. Maybe because I told myself this was the summer that I didn't do anything expect enjoy and here I am trying to fight that idea.

Oh well! Hopefully I'll just get over it and just be lazy.

But in better news; glad to be back to my natural hair color of purple.

  

I bought this dress last summer at Salvation Army for $5.00 but have yet to wear it. I don't know why, it's ideal for summer and super comfy. There wasn't any real need to style it. A statement piece all on it's own.

  

And the sad thing is; I can not part with these little red shoes. I know they are going to die soon but I will wear them until they fall apart. I also have yet to find a great pair to replace them.
