the GIRL Project. 

I started working on this strange GIRL art project. I was inspired by Pharrell William's new album. He was getting crazy backlash about the cover of his album, which is ridiculous. So I started posting pictures of all the type of the worlds in the world. Enjoy!

This isn't cool - but haven't been really inspired fashion wise, hence the lack of posts. But hopeful that will all change.

something of a remix

Yesterday j.mena and I went to the Seattle Art Museum Remix Show. It's when the public are invited to party, dance, and interact with the art at the museum. Also to be the first to see the newest/latest exhibit. We had a blast! People were also dressed up, loving all the ideas this year for halloween.

I was able to take a lot of great pictures but might save them for a separate post of some "guttersnipe inspiration". For the time being here is me twerking in various places. Because well, I've just been doing it lately...

On a fashion note. I got a Nordstrom Gift Card for my birthday (Aunt's are the best!) and since our Nordstrom now has a Top Shop, I was able to get these amazing high waisted acid wash jeans. So glad I bought them in stores instead of online. WARNING - Top Shop clothes, especially their pants, run small. Super small. I usually wear 30 x 30 and got these in a 31 x 32. Just a little #guttersnipe tip.

 

  

Also - a super cute DIY project is taking a scrap of fabric and tying it into a bow on a pearl necklace. Bam! That's it.

*Anyone who nows me knows I am big Chicago Bulls fan. If you know me really well you know I am a BIGGER Derrick Rose fan.

I was walking by 35th & North (which is on Capitol Hill) and saw this shirt hanging in the window. I bought it on site. $25.00 for a shirt might sound steep but my thing is tha 35th & North sells a lot of local independent brands which is dope. This shirt being from a brand called G.A.J. And 35th & North being a local business is a plus. I strongly believe in supporting local business.

So yeah $25.00 was worth every penny.

Sun(burn) Dress

Ugh. I don't know if any of you saw the photo I posted of my horrible sunburn I got on Saturday. Yes, I was the stupid pale Irish Girl who sat in the sun for 5 hours without ANY sunblock.

Trust me, I already feel stupid.

On the other hand, I had a great weekend. Saturday I went to a crazy punk rock party (not my scene what so ever), then Sunday hung out with Gabby, later went to a BBQ at the famous Bear Creek Studios with Gabby and Kim.

And right now I am getting ready to go to a Rookie Mag meet up in Seattle. I'll make sure to take photos and post them later. (Also post photos from this weekend too...)

I was having a really strange day yesterday. I wasn't in the best mood and every little thing was getting to me. But today, today I am just in a good mood. I really just don't give a f-u-C-K right now. 

I'll blame it on the t-shirt. A client of mine got it for me as a thank you gift. He heard that I am a huge John Hughes fan and saw that I post a t-shirt from the clothing company Sometimes. on my tumblr. So being the nice human he got it for me.

I've been trying to take extra care of nails lately. Making them look pretty with some bright neon colors helps.

4. Pairing food with fashion: Miss Moss
It's a very strange trend but I am really loving it. Find out about it on Honestly WTF. But for some eye candy go straight to the Miss Moss blog.

This scent is my new jam! Every single time I wear it, men, woman, even babies stop and asking me what I am wearing. Love it! Best part about The Bonds line there's a scent for everyone.

Sadly one of my best friends Ericka (who was SUPPOSE to be here all summer) left for Miami. I can't be really mad at her because she has a job down there. Now on the other hand miss j.mena is back home. She just graduated from college (CONGRATS!) So that means me and her are just going to be lazy asses in the sun for the next few months.

Yesterday I went to my friend Shakir's surprise birthday party then today Salvation Army was having a surprise sale. Everything in the store was 50% off plus $1.00 off for valentine's day. So you know, I am in a good mood.

I don't know what it is, maybe it's something in the water, but I've been fighting to stay awake today. I blame it on the fact that my best friend J.Mena is in town. Either way, I am yawning up a storm and downing the coffee.

I love James Bond and I seriously think he's one of the best James Bonds (Yes, I did just say that and yes, I will stand behind it) Layer Cake is one of my favorite movies of all time. I also I think my love for him is because he just got married. Congrats Mrs & Mr Craig.

I couldn't playing this song! It's become my go to song while I am getting ready to go out on the town.

In this day and age watches might seem irrelevant but they are so sexy. I've been noticing more and more people wearing them. They will always be a great statement piece of success and being on your grind.

I don't even smoke but this song gets me going! This music video is so simple but so glossy and smooth. The editing is perfection.
