Part Poet x Part Comedian
Sorry I've been MIA - Just been super uper busy. So busy I haven't gone thrift shopping or retail shopping in months! Which is wild but my bank account is happy about that. Also on the plus side I am working on new projects, my new book is coming out soon, and I have a jammed packed schedule for shows this summer.
So much going on but staying positive!
Since I am working on a new project and embarking on a new chapter in my life I had the pleasure of this photo shot with my friend AJ Ragas over at the Cave Studios in my hometown. Here are just a few snaps. Enjoy & stay tuned.

YO NYC. We coming for you.
As you know I am currently on tour "The Good Feelings Tour" with Mary Lambert hence the lack of posts.
Good news; this is a post.
Better news; New York City readers Mary "Same Love" Lambert and I will be performing at The Bluestockings Club in NYC on Sunday January 27th. We will be doing a bunch of smaller wild random shows while in the New York area but you do not want to miss this!
I'll do a instagram post shortly but for those who can't wait that long, just follow me instead: @missestelle
Best News: I have an official "website." I am sorry, but I feel mad fancy yo!

wolf pack
Yesterday I was in Olympia doing a reading. Ate some bomb ass food, did some shopping, did the show, then got milkshakes. Truly, an ideal day if you ask me. One of the places my sister took me to was this funky little antique store (will post those photos later in an "inspired thrifting" post.)
I finally put a link on here so you can buy my book! Support the arts, poetry, young writers, and guttersnipes!
But today, today is a beautiful cold, wet, and miserable day in Seattle. I am glad to be home. I get to sit back and enjoy some days off from the book tour and from work. Which is just what I needed.
Now this sweater is most def best thrifting find. It's too clowin'. How could I pass it up?
Shoes (Dr. Martens) $40.00
Jeans (Forever 21) $7.00
Dog/Wolf/AWESOME sweater (Salvation Army) $4.75
Jean Jacket (Salvation Army) $5.00
Beanie (Alive & Well)
Earrings (Claire's) $3.50
Oh... and the back.

the # 23
Currently I am tucked away on a hidden island, staying in a beautiful little wooden cabin, eating fresh vegetables from a garden, learning to make fires to stay warm, as well as suppose to be writing. It's not working out because my muse is playing hard to get and I am not getting the work I WANT done. But being the die hard writer that I am I've been exercising my writing muscles in other ways. On my birthday I posted about this idea/project/state of mind I am in right now that I am calling my #JordanYear.
Since then I've been posting little bits here & there about my life right now, being in my 20s, love life, strange moments and what not. Most of the stuff I write actually does not end up on the internet because hard to believe but I like to keep somethings private and to myself. (Go figure.) However I believe in sharing, getting feedback, and starting a dialogue.
Roaring 20s
Dating
I am lacking on posts right now because I am in the woods on an island. I am wearing sweatpants, leggings, hoodies, and mismatch wool socks. Being the coziest guttersnipe ever but maybe not the most glamours...
Til then, I am updating the tumblr so get your fix there. And the instagram @missestelle

Also it's a BEAUTIFUL day in Seattle. So why not embrace this Friday the 13th.

"a woman's will"
Whoa. Life is so wild right now! I have my art show at the end of month. Got a job offer, upload one of my poems from my first book of poetry, working on two short films, and I've been ask to do a TED talk. Yeah that was just the highlights from one week.
So life is wild. That only means one thing: wear leopard print.
shoes - (NYLON Challenge shoes: Salvation Army) $4.99
leather leggings - (American Appeal) $16.00
Leopard print shirt - (Salvation Army) $2.50
bandana - (99 cent store) $1.00
Also here is my video for "a women's will." Shout out to the lovely & amazing Janae Jones for shooting it for me.
Now let's me just break something down right quick. Life has it's ups and it's down. And right now I would say I was on a "up." It's been amazing and great to share but let's be honest I don't think I would be this happy if it wasn't for the great people I am lucky enough to be surrounded by. My family, my friends, my co-workers, poets, etc. It's been an honor to have such a dope community that loves me and supports me. I guess I just wanted to talk a moment and say Thank you.
Thank you for being there for me, thank you for keeping me humble and strong, thank you for pushing me, and thank you for being you!
NOW... it's my job to send all that love right back into the world!
(OK. I promise my super cheesy moment is over now :)

Back From Boston
I am back from Boston! I was there competing at the National Poetry Slam. I was representing Seattle with my 3 other lovely team mates. It was a crazy/memorable/wild trip. One I will cherish and remember for the rest of my fashionable poetic life.
Now one thing you should know about poets: We always dress to impress. Of course I didn't take enough photos but here are just some snaps to wet your appetite...

None the less it feels so good to be home. I have lots of laundry to do and a whole lot more sleep to catch up with.
