Been busy cleaning my room, got ride of a lot clothes, and sold some for cash money! I need learn how to focus, but it's so hard with all this sun. All this sun.

an actually wear & share

One question I get a lot when people ask me about this blog (besides "is your fashion really that cheap?" short answer: yes) is do I actually wear my DIYs. The answer is yes!

 

I usually don't post those outfits because I figured you've already seen me sport them before. But why not share again? This is the hoodie patchwork I did awhile back. So yes people, I do wear & share.

 

My birthday is in a few days! I am so excited. Loving how spooky, cold, and crisp the weather has been. Sorry I haven't been posting my halloween outfits like I did last year. The one night I did dress up I was Sandy at the end of the movie Grease. But just wait for my actually halloween costume. It will be amazing!

What can I tell you other than I've been very inspired lately?

It's funny how a song, or a movie, a lyric, a poem, a picture, or moment can truly kick start your creative juices. Maybe it's the rush of summer. The weather, the sun, the idea of pure freedom. Whatever it is, I need more of it.

It could be this awesome book I was recommend to read called "One Hundred Demons" by Lynda Barry. A strange graphic novel/comic/book/memoir. I can't put it in one box because it's so out of the box.

I am trying to blog more (write about my life & fashion & shit) and I am trying not sound to sound like a total lush right now but I am in such a good mood, I bet a lot of you would find it sickening or cheesy if I went into anymore details, so fuck it! On to the fashion...

look better than how you feel

My head feels like a giant ballon. I woke up with the largest head ache and with some serious nasal congestion. I know sounds so sexy doesn't it. But of course, a rule of being a true guttersnipe is too look a million times better than how you feel.

You would surprise how dressing well can make you feel better. Also it helps to smile through it all. I mean, it's a beautiful day. Plus it's finally October! (Only 30 days until my birthday...)

That Fall

I do spring cleaning and I do Fall cleaning. And thank goodness I do Fall cleaning because I found so many amazing things in my room. I found the amazing yellow watch hidden behind one my of book shelves.

I also found many other goodies as well. Who knew I could go "shopping" in my own bedroom. 

It's switching quickly here. Summer into Fall. I couldn't be happier. I am all about the layers. So put on, put on, put on, and put on.

Let's get two things straight.

1.) It does rain in Seattle, however it is not the wettest city in American. In fact, Seattle isn't even in the top ten.

2.) My fashion sometimes isn't weather smart. I know this.

High School Musical

I am a sucker for a good musical. Yesterday I watched Glee (yeah I am a gleek, couldn't tell?!) and it made me want to break out my old musical playlist.

Music from the greats like: Passing Strange, Grease, Hair, RENT, Dream Girls, West Side Story, Wicked, and my all time favorite: Hairspray. Anything John Waters puts his creepy little hands on is GOLD to me.

Listening to all those classics made me miss my dancing days. When I took jazz, hip - hop, salsa, and yes even Irish dancing.
