As promised I am going to tell ya'll what a sweater exchange party is. An event like this is best for this time of year, it's kind of like a "White Elephant Party" but with sweaters.
Get a bunch of your friends together and tell each person they have to bring a sweater, cardigan, or jacket that they love but don't really wear anymore. Then each person brings that item (wrapped up like a gift) to the party.
Then after a few rounds of apples to apples, some good snacks, and apple cider: each person selects a gift at random. Going home with a new lovely sweater. Super simple, super easy, and a lot of fun.
