The title is from a lyric in a childishgambino (a.k.a Donald Glover) song. He's my future buddy, meaning he doesn't know this yet but we are going to be best friends. Plus he stole my freestylin' style... don't worries Donald, I'll let you borrow it.
Jordan 6's - gift
Jeans - (H&M) hand-me-downs*
Sweatshirt - (Goodwill Outlet) $0.83
Green Hoodie - hand-me-downs
Leather Member's Only** - (Goodwill) $7.00
*first off: When I was little hand-me-downs were embarrassing but now I take advance of them. There's nothing wrong with free clothes, that are in great use, and look great. Embrace hand-me-downs!
**Second: I am a Members Only junkie. I have about 12 different color ones (very hipster of me) And I always find them in the men's section of Goodwill, Salvation Army, Value Village, and more. My mother and father HATES them, but it's a Guttersnipe worthy item.

I realized I wear this outfit or some form of this outfit a lot. But that's what a true Guttersnipe does. You work with what you got!
Breakin it down:
boots - (nordstorm rack) $20.00
leggings - (target) $6.00
Jean shirt - (Goodwill) $3.00
cardigan - (dumpster dive*) FREE
Belt - (St. Vincent De Paul) $1.00
gold chain - (Goodwill) $0.35
*Most people stick their noses up at dumpster diving, I get it. It sounds gross, HOWEVER dumpster diving can be very rewarding. This cardigan, I found in a dumpster behind a Target FILLED with clothes. They only thing wrong with this sweater was a hole in the arm pit. I sewed it up, now it's good as new!
A true Guttersnipe thing to do!

I feel awfully sick. BUT my outfit feels like if Annie Hall was a librarian. Randomness I know... but I think that's the flu talking.
GOLDEN shoes: (Nordstorm Rack) $25.00
pants: (H&M) hand-me-downs from my mother
stripped shirt: (Salvation Army) $4.50
Black Cardigan: (Goodwill) $8.50
Gold Watch necklace: (Goodwill) $2.50
Rings: one-gift/one-free/one- $1.00
I huge on jewelry, but you can never see it in the pictures. So I took some close ups.
A. B. C. D.
A. Fangs ring - since my birthday is halloween my mom gets me "halloween" theme gifts, this year it was a fangs!
B. The one next to the fangs was something I got at a flea market.
C. This jade ring belonged to my friend but she broke it, she gave it to me, I fixed it and now the proud owner of it.
D. Now, this is my FAVORITE one. I wear it all the time. I got it at Goodwill, the back is broken, but I don't mind. It's very guttersnipe!

I have many fashion icons, but the person who takes the cake and TOPS my list, hands down:
She is goofy, loud, crazy, FUN, and most of all original. She's not like Lady Gaga or Nicki Minaj, who are over the top, over hyped, crazed, costume, almost stupid outfits. And Marina is not a pastel plastic girlie girl like Katy Perry or Rihanna, and she is most def NOT that awful trash bag Ke$ha.
No no no.
Marina is a whole another level. Her style is effortless, playful, and kicks ass. I mean, high top sneakers with a long elegant ball gown, SIGN ME UP!
Marina is a beautiful English singer/songwriter from Greek descent who makes pure ear candy. Seriously buy her album. I find her to be a real sized woman and someone who dresses her age. Doesn't try to impress or make an character. She is 100% herself, no act.
