 photo IMG_3591_zpsbbc76a9c.jpg

Sometimes I come across an article of clothing and think "Why would someone buy that vs. make it themselves?!" All honesty: Laziness. So people, from one guttersnipe to another STOP BEING LAZY!

Now that's out of the way here is the newest & latest DIY.

I found this picture on my daily trolling of the internet and thought "Yeah. I can make that." And guess what? I did. It's simple.

Very very simple.

Here is what you need:

Iron-on-letters ($2.99)
Lace ($8.99 a yard)
A tee shirt (any color mine - h&m $5.95)
You will be sewing! Hand or Machine.

The best part about this DIY is that you can make it more to fit your style. You not only get to pick the tee shirt color or the type of lace but the letters you want to iron on. I, of course, went with "GUTTERSNIPE" I mean really, what else would I have done?

If you want the "crop top" effect, cut about 4-5 inches off the bottom of your shirt.

Important - make sure to test the iron to see if it is hot enough. Depending on what kind of iron-on-letters you bought make sure to follow their directions.

After allowing your letters to cool down, place the lace at the bottom, pin in place, then sew.
