New Year! New things to love! Here we go.

5. Bob's Burgers
I don't know why but I love this show. It's freaking strange, the humor is questionable, but I can't stop watching it. I like weird shit and this show is the weirdest.

4. Rose Gold
I mention this already but it's becoming my new favorite color this year. Maybe it's because my name is all over it.

3. Reading!
People don't read enough. (Reading reddit articles do not count!) I mean books; reading actually, physical, books. One of my favorite places in the whole wide world is Elliott Bay Books. It's like my Breakfast at Tiffany's.

2. Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

1. Beyonce
The album almost came out a month ago and I still can't playing it. It also helps that she has music videos that are so hard to look away from. *I woke up like this*

5. Society 6 "Throw Pillows"
Society 6 has the coolest iPhone & iPad skins. There truly is a design for everyone and anyone. Now they have added "throw pillows" into the mix. You want a pillow with something ironic, iconic or just awesome this is the place to do. I am a massive fan of the Bill Murray one.

4. Mindy Project
I was a fan of Mindy Kaling back in Office days as well as her book "is everyone hanging out without me? (and other concerns)" and I've become a fan of her newest TV. I have to say it's ridiculously stupid and sometimes hard to watch, but that's the thing about comedy now a days. It's all truly hard to look at.

3. Alabama Shakes
My friend turned me onto them after their Saturday Night Live performance which was amazing! Then of course I realized I was already a fan because their song that was featured in Silver Linings Playbook (a great movie by the way...) I just bought their album and it's so ideal to for a silly Seattle February. Not to mention their lead singer Brittany is a sassy lady. Love that!

2. We Killed: The Rise of Women in American Comedy
I bought this book to take on the road with me while I was on tour and it's great! Not even for people like myself who are aspiring comedies, it's just a great read to pass the time on a bus or before bed. Women are fucking funny. Think other wise and you're just mad.

1. The World's Best Ever
The internet is a magical place. But sometimes it's truly overwhelming. I finally found a place where I can get all my news, art, pop culture, street wear, and other random stuff that helps getting through the work week that much easier.

5. "exercising"
I am one lazy ass guttersnipe. My only form of exercising is dancing which I do as often as I can (whether it's a night out on the town or in my room) HOWEVER I bought a pair of running shoes and have been going for walks and working on running which has been really nice. Let's see how long this will last...

 

4. John Waters - Role Models
I am a book nerd and I love reading. I am also a massive John Waters fan! I copped this book at the beginning of the summer because I heard John Waters was going to be at Bumbershoot (he signed my copy!) and it's such a fascinating read.

 

3. Angel Haze
I read an article about her in Rolling Stone as well as NYLON and after seeing her in the "Iron Fist" BET cypher I was truly impressed. Quickly downloaded her mixtape and I have yet to be disappointed.

 

2. Leftovers
Thanksgiving is over. But the food ain't. I am so thankful for leftovers. Pecan pie, gravy, mashed potatoes, etc. You have no idea how many different ways you can dress up a turkey sandwich.

1. Christmas time! Holiday Season.
If you know me, you know I love this time of year. It doesn't matter what you celebrate or how you do, I truly think this time of year is magical and beautiful. I am all about spending it with family and friends. I am also a massive fan of gift giving. But I am all about gingerbread houses, trees, peppermint, twinkle lights, but no snow. Sorry, not a big fan of snow....
