anti cool ain't cool

Life Updates - I got a new phone. Thank goodness. I of course didn't "need" a new phone (#FirstWorldProblems) but I was lucky enough to get one. My last phone had a spider screen, could only talk to people on speaker, and for some reason would send my text messages three times or not send them at all.

Just purchased Rookie: Year Book Two.

Now I will admit - I was not the biggest fan of Tavi for the longest time. I think most of it came from a place of jealousy or the fact that I didn't understand her whole message right away. But once her and her friends started Rookie I jumped on the band wagon.

I find it to be a fun read and a great research book for young girls. I don't agree with everything they prompt but believe they do more good than bad.

  

 

I can't wear just black. I tried. I think I might be the only person in the world who can't pull it off. Or maybe, just maybe, I am not cool enough. Or maybe, which is mostly likely the reason, I can't because I need just a pop of color to make me feel at ease.

Sorry "Street Ninjas*" of the world. I can't.

*Street Ninja - People who are in the fashion scene or game; only wear black. Who only wear black. Who can pull off only wearing black.

kind of a fan

I like the Chicago Bulls. And it's not just because I want to marry Derrick Rose so my name will be Rose Rose or the fact that I calling being 23 my "Jordan Year."

Actually. That is pretty much why. But also because I think they are a great team. I am a little bit of a basketball fan. Well, I am a Chicago Bulls fan. Yeah, I'll openly admit it. I am one of "those people."

In other news; this week has been awesome. Had a bunch of really successful shows, people brought me flowers, had some bomb ass food, as well as saw Jessie Ware and Tyler The Creator both live. I am happy.

Plus, since I've been home I've been walking on cloud 9. I am so happy and excited about my friends, my family, my life, the freaking weather! I am good.

I how have been running around a lot since I've been back. With work, seeing people, fam-bam, and what not, I am busy but keeping it under control. Today I took a 45 minute spin class. (I know I am going to be sore tomorrow) So I am on that nice work out high.

I don't believe in diets, but I do believe in taking care of your body. I am working on working out more.

& then that happened...

My morning started off to a late start. I was suppose to get breakfast but that didn't. So instead I took my sweet time getting up, grabbed some coffee then went back to the apple store to buy my newest baby Stella 2.0 (my new laptop) I am still lowkey bummed about saying good bye to my other one. So many memories but I am warming up to this one. I just got to think of a new name for her.

 

Anyways, my friend Gabby reminded tonight was the Kreayshawn, Rye Rye, and Honey Cocaine show at Neumoes. I mean, I had to go! If not only to dance like a fool, I know the people watching would be on point. So got dressed with my girls and headed out.

Sadly, Rye Rye (the main selling point for me) didn't make it! And because of that, the show suffered. I mean it was cool but I was disappointed. In all honesty I am not a Kreayshawn fan to begin with (she does some stupid ass shit and she says dumber shit) but I expected it to be a bit better.

But oh well! You win some, you loose some, and you gotta to remember to look good doing either of those.

    

You could say this is racket. You could say this is trill. But I like to think guttersnipe laid back.
